Short day, easy day. We spent the morning in Wrangell, at Shakes Island. Shakes Island is the site of
Chief Shakes Tribal House, a replica Tlingit longhouse. Most of the locals were at
Celebration in Juneau, but Brittany was still in town. She explained the history of her tribe, the history of the house, and answered our questions.

Later, we headed for St. John Harbor. We all anchored, then ended up on
Doll Face for happy hour. Happy hour morphed into dinner...thanks to Vince and Linda for hosting us all...it was great!
Sunset was stunning. Over about three hours, it kept getting better. Summer sunsets last forever.
